“I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to sample some of Leigh’s delicious vegan food. I’m not a vegan or vegetarian, and honestly, I’m far from even being a healthy eater. However, my husband and I were invited to Leigh’s house for a Halloween gathering, and she had a spread of desserts and finger food. As I loaded up my plate, Leigh mentioned that all the food was vegan. After she walked away, I looked at my husband and said “Uh oh; how am I going to get rid of this stuff on my plate without hurting Leigh’s feelings?” Fortunately for me, I was starving so I decided to “force down” one of the brownies I had picked up. Thank goodness I did, because it was absolutely the best brownie I ever had. I was so shocked by how good it was that I continued to try other items on my plate. Needless to say, every single thing was delicious. I decided to confess to Leigh about my initial panic when I realized the food was vegan, and my ultimate delight when I realized how good everything was. I am proud to say that Leigh is a friend of mine and I hope everyone gets a chance to try her food.”

“Our EatWith dinner at Chef Leigh’s home was wonderful. We were greeted at the door with a smile as our coats were taken, and then we were invited to make ourselves comfortable. There were many drink options including hot apple cider – which was nice on such a cold evening. The other guests were delightful, and Leigh and her assistants were quick to get us all chatting with a fun ice-breaker. While we were all getting acquainted, we were offered a delicious appetizer which was magnificent – walnut “meat” balls! Then it was on to dinner, which was colorful, tasty and filling. We were offered tea or coffee to go with our warm pear dessert. I especially appreciated that Chef Leigh accommodated my Gluten Free request so I didn’t have to miss out on anything. Chef Leigh is a fabulous, knowledgeable and gracious chef and hostess. I would highly recommend joining her for a meal. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I invited 6 of my best friends to join me for an exquisite vegan lunch with Chef Leigh at her lovely home in Vienna, Virginia. We were warmly greeted at the door by Chef Leigh and offered a glass of hot spiced cider with rum optional. After relaxing a few moments in the living room, we were invited to the table which had been decorated in fall fashion. The food was amazing in subtlety and flavor. I was especially surprised to learn that most of the items on the menu were prepared with no added oil or sugar. Leigh explained that she aims to prepare healthy, Whole Food, Plant Based meals with a minimum of refined ingredients. We were glad that the food was both nutritious and delicious. My favorite item was the Lentil Veggie Shepherd’s Pie, which had an incredible orange & sweet potato topping. As a parting gift we all received a pumpkin cupcake with vanilla icing to take home. We all had a marvelous time and hope to do it again soon.”
